LeadsCon Dialed In to Pay-Per-Call
03/06/2010 by Rob Duva
Pay-per-call saw quite a bit of action at LeadsCon last week, with callouts from several different sources. Matt Coffin, an investor with Coffin Capital, mentioned RingRevenue on a panel about what to expect in 2010, including us as part of the next step toward lead quality. The panel was blogged live by LeadCritic - click here if you’d like to read more about it.
Later on, VC Mark Suster of GRP Partners (one of our investors) mentioned us during an interesting panel appearance (visit www.bothsidesofthetable.com to check out Mark’s subsequent blog post “Making The Most out of Sitting on Panels” where he talks about his panel at LeadsCon).

The audience was very excited about the new opportunities created by RingRevenue's Pay-Per-Call platform and had many questions for Jason. As CMO Rob Duva gave demos, I walked the floor of the exhibition hall looking for new ways to leverage our Pay-Per-Call platform in the affiliate marketing community. We also managed to have some fun, attending parties sponsored by buy.at and ShareASale. To view Jason's presentation, click here.

An Event Apart: conference on web usability
08/22/2009 by Nick Burwell
This summer I had the opportunity to attend the "An Event Apart" conference in Boston. The focus was on modern standards and usability relating to web design. At RingRevenue we are always looking for ways to improve the usability of our application, so it was great to get some fresh ideas and strategies from multiple professionals in the field. We plan to do more user testing of new features and get better insight into how our customers are using the platform. We look forward to continual improvements in our user interface as we engage with our users for feature requests and feedback.

Paradise on Fire
05/06/2009 by Jason SpievakSanta Barbara is burning again. Several of the team here were evacuated from their homes, and our offices are under evacuation warning. Fortunately, the RingRevenue architecture is immune to these situations, and our service continues uninterrupted to our customers around the country. To learn more about how we do it, contact us today for a demo. Better make that tomorrow, actually. We’re outta here.
REST Transaction Reporting API
04/01/2009 by Colin KelleyWe've had a rich set of reports for some time, but those are tailored to interactive use. What if you want to synchronize to transaction data from us computer-to-computer? We've just released a really simple REST network transaction reporting API for just this purpose. It returns a window of transactions in Comma Separated Value (CSV) format--or separated by anything you like actually. The idea of the transaction window is that you keep track of the last transaction id you got. (Or even easier, if you put them in a database you can just ask for the highest transaction id you've ever gotten from us.) Each subsequent time you use the API to download transactions you can request to start where you left off. So it's flexible enough that at one extreme you can download every transaction from the start of time, or at the other extreme you can poll us every 5 minutes to just get the latest transactions. Or choose anything in between.
Fun with Patents
03/18/2009 by Jason SpievakJust filed our third patent application today. More on the way. The RingRevenue platform brings substantial optimization to the pay-per-call market through some very innovative technology that ensures delivery of the highest-quality callers to advertisers. Contact us today for a demo.
Budgets
02/08/2009 by Robert DuvaIt's common for networks to manage advertiser's campaigns for them. Often the advertiser has set a "not-to-exceed" budget. Now we support setting advertiser budgets. You tell us the date to start, the budget amount, and at what level you'd like to get a warning. We'll track the spend and send you an email when you've reached the warning threshold.
IVR & Professionally Recorded Voice Prompts
01/07/2009 by Colin KelleyWe just went live with our 3rd-generation web-based IVR (Interactive Voice Response) support. It uses Web 2.0 dynamic HTML & Ajax to create IVR trees. You can put the tree together and test it out immediately; we'll use a computer voice to speak the prompts. When you're happy with the flow you can push it live for your callers right then, or you can click a button to request us to professionally record those prompts if you'd prefer.
SMS Promotions
10/07/2008 by Robert DuvaYou can offer your mobile phone callers an SMS follow-up promotion. Tell us what to speak to make them the offer and what to put in the body of the text message. We can send the text message right away, or we can delay sending it if it's more of a reminder.

Office Upgrade
07/10/2008 by Scott HerrimanBig news for us: we just completed our move into our new offices. We left our 300 square foot global headquarters for the new digs today. Much nicer to have real desks and more than six inches between you and your coworker. Our developer "pit" even has a fireplace and views of the palm trees swaying in the gentle Santa Barbara ocean breeze. Stop by and check it out.
Affiliate Summit West 2008
